Senior Technical Director, Digital Design

We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our Applications Engineering team focused on delivering advanced DFT solutions across India. As a Senior Technical Director, you will be responsible for defining, communicating, and executing strategic initiatives to increase Synopsys' market presence and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand the Applications Engineering team to deliver best-in-class DFT solutions, accelerating time-to-market for semiconductor leaders.
  • Define and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation in Synopsys' Hardware, Analytics, and Test business in India.
  • Act as a senior technical leader and trusted advisor, ensuring that Synopsys' DFT offerings align with customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior customer stakeholders, driving long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for product development, roadmap planning, and process enhancement.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, managing cross-functional collaboration and ensuring timely, quality delivery.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in DFT, Synthesis, or other front-end digital design technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage complex technical programs.
  • Strong project management skills, including risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiarity with technical documentation standards.
