The Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Proposal Writer to join our team. This position is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in India.

Job Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Technical Proposal Writer to develop complex RFP responses for government organizations. The ideal candidate will gather information from existing RFPs, documentation and technical experts within the company, write a draft response, obtain approvals and submit the proposal and supporting documents.

• The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and understanding of business process management and security considerations, along with two or more years of experience responding to technical RFPs from large firms and government organizations.

• Strong writing skills, good time and project management skills are required to ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Determine proposal requirements by identifying and clarifying objectives within RFPs.

• Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, and coordinating with key providers and other internal contributors.

• Produce quality responses to RFPs following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.

• Obtain approvals and submit completed proposals.

• Establish priorities and target dates to ensure timely submissions.
