Equipment Maintenance Manager

The role of the Equipment Maintenance Manager is to ensure smooth operation and efficiency in equipment maintenance departments.

  • This position requires experience working with manufacturing industries, particularly in maintenance departments.

An ideal candidate for this position would have hands-on experience with a range of equipment types, including PLC-based special purpose machines, utilities like generators and compressors, hydraulic presses, material handling equipment and conveyors, as well as ovens and furnaces.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, as well as the ability to formulate and execute comprehensive preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance programs.

This position also requires proficiency in designing and reconditioning machine control panels, as well as competence in material procurement and vendor development and negotiation. Additionally, training and guiding maintenance crew members is an essential aspect of this role.

A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.E./Diploma) is typically required for this position, along with at least 15-20 years of experience in maintenance departments. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of standardizing, evaluating, and controlling machine spares, as well as familiarity with work and quality systems such as ISO and TPM.
