Job Title: Rotating Equipment Specialist

 

The Condition Monitoring Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of rotating equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will utilize advanced condition monitoring techniques to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

With a strong focus on data analysis and interpretation, you will leverage online and offline data acquisition methods to monitor equipment health, providing actionable insights to inform maintenance decisions. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing reliability improvement plans, driving business efficiency and reducing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of condition-based data to identify trends and anomalies
  • Monitor and analyze various condition monitoring parameters, including vibration, oil analysis, thermography, and wear particle counts
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address observed faults and defects, with a focus on preventing equipment failure
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities, including lubrication, equipment changeovers, and corrective maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards for condition monitoring, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to apply condition-based maintenance techniques, with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of machine condition monitoring, balancing, alignment, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment maintenance techniques and types
  • Understanding of rotor dynamics, mechanical design, equipment function, and construction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
