Strategic Demand Planning Specialist

The Strategic Demand Planning Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making. This involves developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain optimization, and analyzing forecast accuracy to identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and Maintain Accurate Demand Forecasts: The ideal candidate will build and maintain statistical models using historical data and market insights to forecast demand. This requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP systems.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: The Strategic Demand Planning Specialist will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure demand plans support strategic business goals. This involves effective communication and collaboration skills to drive results.
  • Drive Supply Chain Optimization: The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align supply and demand, manage inventory levels, and minimize excess stock. This requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex systems.
  • Analyze Forecast Accuracy: The Strategic Demand Planning Specialist will monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying root causes for variances and driving continuous improvement. This requires attention to detail and a data-driven approach.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: In Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations (manufacturing/electronics experience preferred). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential for this role. The Strategic Demand Planning Specialist must be able to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
