Oracle CC&B Functional Consultant Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with business users to gather, analyze and document functional requirements related to Oracle CC&B.
  • They will configure Oracle CC&B modules to meet business needs including Customer Management, Billing, Payments, Collections and Metering.
  • Support end-to-end implementation activities including design, configuration, testing, training and post-go-live support.
  • Translate business processes into system solutions within Oracle CC&B.
  • Prepare functional design documents and collaborate with technical teams for development of customizations, integrations and reports.
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support and defect resolution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Oracle CC&B best practices, enhancements and new functionalities.
  • Assist in project planning, effort estimation and risk management.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and system stability.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Oracle CC&B functional experience (implementation, upgrade or support) is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) is a must.
  • Deep understanding of utility business processes including customer management, billing, payments, metering, collections and service orders is essential.
  • Experience creating functional design documents, test plans and training materials is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle CC&B integration with other systems (MDM, CIS etc.) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and client-facing skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is necessary.
