The Cluster Head serves as a pivotal figure in leading and managing teams of direct sales professionals towards achieving outstanding sales and activation results. Their key responsibilities include strategizing merchant/retailer acquisition across diverse segments, driving sourcing, lead generation, and closure of new acquisitions & activations.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Develop effective strategies for merchant/retailer acquisition across various market segments.
- Drive the process of sourcing, lead generation, and closure of new acquisitions & activations.
- Manage, coach, and mentor direct sales professionals to achieve team goals.
- Forge strong relationships with merchants and prioritize customer satisfaction.
- Implement promotional strategies to enhance market penetration and visibility.
- Travel extensively to expand market presence and drive sales growth.
- Achieve consistent sales and activation targets through diligent efforts.
Essential Competencies:
- At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in sales management and leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices with the ability to guide teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
- Proven leadership, people management, and team-building capabilities.
Candidates with 7–10 years of experience in Direct Sales, B2C Sales, Merchant Acquisition, Offline Payments, Distribution, or Telecom are highly sought after. A background in digital payments or telecom sales is also preferred.
This role demands exceptional field sales and team-handling expertise. The ideal candidate will be able to travel extensively and consistently deliver sales and activation results.
