Account Recovery Specialist
  • The primary focus is on recovering payments from customers across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Collection Process Management
  • Identify and negotiate payment schedules that align with customers' financial capabilities, ensuring debt obligations are met in a timely manner.
  • Monitor portfolios for specific segments, controlling delinquency at both the bucket and Days Past Due levels.
  • Manage non-starters and delinquent accounts efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by resolving collection issues, processing refunds, account adjustments, discrepancies, and short payments promptly.
  • Track customer account details for irregularities, including non-payments, delayed payments, and other issues.
  • Make customer calls to address account discrepancies, process adjustments, reconcile customer accounts, and issue credit memos when necessary.
  • Update customer files with accurate information, including contact details, times, dates, and received debt-related data.
  • Coordinate with the tracing team to locate defaulters and assets, suggesting remedial actions as needed.
  • Investigate reasons for default while maintaining healthy relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and senior management to expedite collections when required.
  • Support court receivers in repossessing assets and seek legal or police assistance when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and company policies.
