We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and background investigations on transactions, individuals, entities, organizations or locations to identify and mitigate associated sanctions, financial crime, and reputational risks.

You will work closely with our Due Diligence group to support client onboarding processes and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Due Diligence, including knowledge of BSA/AML programs, KYC, and related risk and regulatory disciplines.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Know your Customer (KYC) Compliance process
  • Analyzing risks on escalated, referred, or alerted negative news
  • Identifying and researching patterns, trends, and anomalies in transactional and customer data
  • Reviewing Customer Due Diligence information for accuracy
  • Identifying Higher Risk clients and obtaining Enhanced Due Diligence where appropriate

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and relationship/partnership building skills
