Underwriting Enablement Expert

This role is ideal for a skilled underwriter with expertise in retail/home-loan underwriting, who can develop and deliver training programs to enable community reviewers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of calculations and documents, including FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, and credit bureau reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to teach underwriting basics to non-specialists.
  • Design and implement quality rubrics to evaluate the performance of community reviewers.
  • Champion ethics and privacy by ensuring PII handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of experience in retail/home-loan underwriting with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
  • Proven training or mentorship experience, comfortable teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
  • Strong grasp of calculations & documents: FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, credit bureau reports.
  • Fluent in English.
