We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming languages: Python, Java, and experience with GCP tools and technologies like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Spanner, GCS, DBT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Design: Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines using GCP BigQuery, Apache Beam, and Cloud Composer.
  • Data Processing Applications: Design and implement scalable data processing applications using Python, SQL, and ETL tools.
  • Data Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain and optimize data warehouse environments on GCP.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 Years of Experience: 5-10 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud platforms.
  • Programming Languages: Expertise in programming languages: Python, Java.
  • GCP Tools and Technologies: Active experience on GCP tools and technologies like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Spanner, GCS, DBT.
  • Data Engineering Skillset: Data Engineering skillset using Python, SQL.
  • ETL Processes: Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • DevOps Tools: Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform is desirable.
