Leading Cloud Data Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to lead our cloud data initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to design and implement large-scale data solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Azure Data Services: Design and implement Azure data services to meet business needs, focusing on scalability, security, and data governance.
  2. Data Engineering: Leverage expertise in Databricks to optimize Spark architecture and ETL pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration and processing.
  3. Snowflake Data Warehousing: Develop and implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake, including SQL, Snow pipe, and SnowSQL, to provide real-time insights and analytics.
  4. Dremio: Utilize Dremio for data lake query acceleration, data virtualization, and managing diverse data formats, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
  5. Cloud Storage and Management: Experience with cloud storage and management technologies such as S3, Blob/ADLS, and Google Cloud Storage, to ensure secure and scalable data storage.
Requirements:
  • 8-12 years of experience in cloud data architecture and engineering.
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake, Dremio, and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and governance within cloud-native data platforms.
  • Experience migrating data from relational databases to Snowflake and optimizing Snowflake features.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive projects forward and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
