Job Title: Cloud Data Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies, including Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, and Spark.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using GCP managed services such as Dataproc, Dataflow, and Big Query.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data warehouses and lakes using GCS and Big Table.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud adoption models and technical roadmaps.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers on cloud migration and implementation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and big data technologies.
Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of IT experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with at least 4 of the following GCP services: Dataproc, Dataflow, pub/sub, Cloud functions, Big Query, and GCS.
  • Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and IAM concepts.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python or Java, with hands-on experience in DevOps.
  • Ability to drive technical solutions based on industry standards using GCP IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures.
