Job Description:

As a RAMS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of railway infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in meeting the needs of smart-mobility solutions.

With a focus on creating seamless travel experiences for individuals, your work will contribute to making transportation more enjoyable and accessible.

This challenging and future-oriented position requires a skilled RAMS professional who can collaborate with project engineering teams, peers, and customers.

  • You are responsible for demonstrating the safety of systems installed on projects by adhering to RAMS management and engineering processes.
  • Familiarize yourself with customer requirements and country-specific regulations/standards to establish system requirements related to reliability (R), availability (A), maintainability (M), and safety (S).
  • Collaborate with project execution teams to ensure that customer requirements are met in terms of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety.
  • Prepare comprehensive RAM plans, safety plans, analyses, and reports to meet RAMS deliverables.
  • Support senior RAMS engineers/RAMS managers in ensuring that RAMS requirements are met.
  • Implement CENELEC-driven processes to achieve RAMS deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hold a degree in technical engineering (Bachelor's or Master's) preferably in electrical/electronics engineering, with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess knowledge of main subsystems in a railway turnkey project.
  • Familiarity with reading and understanding technical requirements is essential.
  • Knowledge of standards associated with CEN EN50128, 50129, 50126.
  • Awareness of MIL-HDBK-217 FN2/TELCORDIA/SN29500 or similar standards.
  • Understanding of MIL-STD-1629A, RDSO, UNISIG, ERA_ERTMS standards.
  • Experience with reliability analysis tools like ZUSIM, Isograph Reliability Workbench, ReliaSoft, Item Toolkit , Relex, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with configuration tools like DOORS ClearQuest, Livelink, Citrix Application, SAP.
  • Ability to work as a team member in international projects.
