Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the daily operations of infrastructure platforms that support core services.

This involves managing the lifecycle management of hybrid compute platforms across AWS and on-prem environments, ensuring the stability and continuity of business operations.

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including incident management, change management, and problem management, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud and compute services, storage and data protection, and platform engineering and virtualization technologies.

They should have significant experience in infrastructure engineering for data centers and cloud providers, as well as expertise in Linux, Windows, ESX, VMWare, Cisco UCS, Fabric Interconnects, NetApp, and CommVault.

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. Additionally, the candidate should have 12+ years of experience in managing operations for infrastructure teams.

  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Designing, deploying, and managing large-scale infrastructure operations, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Expertise in ITSM practices, especially within datacenter and Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
