Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer Leader to drive our DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Platform Engineering initiatives. This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned professional who can build and lead high-performing platform teams while architecting scalable, secure, and robust infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of platform engineers, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure specialists

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Drive CI/CD strategy, automation, and deployment pipelines across the organization

• Establish and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and governance frameworks

• Architect containerized solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration technologies

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other tools

• Drive platform reliability, monitoring, observability, and incident response strategies

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment processes

• Mentor team members and establish technical excellence standards

Required Qualifications:

• 7-15 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles

• Strong leadership experience managing technical teams (3+ years preferred)

• Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices architecture

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar

• Strong automation skills using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Deep understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog

• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, and distributed systems architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments

• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and CDN technologies

• Background in site reliability engineering (SRE) practices

• Experience with database administration and data platform technologies

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
