Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our organization and contribute to the development of our Cloud platform architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and engineering a scalable, secure, and efficient architecture that enables efficient DevOps and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer the Cloud platform architecture, including cloud providers, on-premises environments, and hybrid deployments.
  • Pursue a collaborative approach with security, infrastructure, networking, compliance/risk, and delivery stakeholders.
  • Define the technology and architecture for DevSecOps engineering lifecycle, including observability of client journeys and infrastructure/application components.
  • Provide direction and decision-making for DevSecOps toolchains, engineering processes/methods, and custom code libraries related to DevSec and infrastructure operations.
  • Represent the organization in defining cloud architectural strategy and technology directions towards cloud services.
  • Enable a collaborative decision-making process through engagement with DevSecOps practitioner forums and communities.
  • Represent significant strategy progressions and decisions into organizational leadership and obtain required buy-ins.

Requirements:

  • Experience in articulating multi-cloud/hybrid strategy from technical architecture, engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure operations perspectives.
  • Experience in directing workload placement strategies towards cloud services.
  • Experience in providing guidelines to delivery and infrastructure teams towards cloud organizational constructs like cloud organizations, policy management, accounts, VPC, cross-cloud/account/on-prem connectivities/gateways, security/IAM, etc.
  • Couple of cloud providers experience (preferably AWS and GCP).
  • Expertise in DevSecOps and infrastructure operations engineering practices, methods, and tool chains.
  • Experience in determining/architecting stacks providing robust alerting, logging, monitoring, observability practices, and tools/platforms for enterprises.
  • Hands-on experience with diverse toolchains in this space (source code management, test case/issue/quality management, requirements management, build/deployment, source code quality/coverage management, SAST/DAST tools, ELK/Splunk, etc.).
  • Experience in architecting distributed/microservices-based systems or providing platform/engineering components towards such architectures.
  • Integration architecture enablers and technologies (API Gateways, Service Meshes, Service Bus, Messaging platforms, SSO platforms) experience is a plus.
  • At least 14-18 years of experience in IT industry with track record of engineering/architecting large-scale systems and at least 4-5 years of decision-making experience in DevSecOps and Cloud platform architecture/engineering space.
