Job ID 195981 Required Travel Minimal Managerial - No Location India- Gurgaon Amdocs Site Who are weAmdocs helps those who build the future to make it amazing With our market-leading portfolio of software products and services we unlock our customers innovative potential empowering them to provide next-generation communication and media experiences for both the individual end user and enterprise customers Our approximately 30 000 employees around the globe are here to accelerate service providers migration to the cloud enable them to differentiate in the 5G era and digitalize and automate their operations Listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market Amdocs had revenue of 4 89 billion in fiscal 2023 In one sentenceDesign solutions provide consultancy to business and manage the operations of computer systems related to UNIX and Windows operating systems servers virtualization and cloud technologies What will your job look like You will build and manage web virtual and client server environments for an enterprise environment You will maintain the operations of all virtual web and client and server systems to ensure availability You will handle escalations related to any IT service issues of systems and servers and partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues You will leverage optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems You will implement and maintain a systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of failures You will train the technical support team on solving common system-related problems You will build and ensure implementation of software standards for operating systems servers and virtualized infrastructures You will work with third-party vendors and consultant on developing system-specific skills You will evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis Lesson Learned and prevention processes to provide a high standard of deliverables that meet SLA Service Level Adherence and ensure CSAT Customer Satisfaction You will devise and ensure implementation of system policies You will perform server performance and capacity management in order to maintain the sizing requirements for customers All you need is Required Skills and Domain Knowledge Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor s College Degree Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Computer Telecommunication or equivalent At least 8 year s of working experience in the related field is required for this position Extensive Experience with at least one cloud platform Azure AWS AWS Preferable Good Understanding of AWS Landing Zone Control Tower Organizations OUs Good Understanding of Cloud Networking Concepts Good knowledge of Cloud Cost Services as well as Security Framework Good knowledge of Backup Services on Cloud and Restoration Techniques Understanding and Experience of Cloud Related Automations Lambda SSM etc Advanced Linux administration skills RedHat CentOS Ubuntu Experienced with OS Patching and Vulnerability Management Windows administration skills including Active Directory AD Excellent understanding of IaC Concepts and Hands on with Terraform preferably Experience with IaaS PaaS Platforms Azure AWS Hands on with CI CD Pipelines and DevOps Tools such as Git Jenkins etc Hands on experience with Containerization EKS ECS AKS Hands on experience in high scale production environments Troubleshooting problems individually and working with teams to resolve large scale issues Must Excellent communication skills and an Automation Driven approach Highly Motivated with a high desire to learn Results-driven with strong commitment Required skill s Azure AWS IAC IaaS PaaS platforms Production Support Linux Windows AD Preferred Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills comfortable in a culturally diverse working environment Ability to interact positively with management Independent problem-solving skills self-motivated Ability to multi-task and perform under SLA pressure situations Experience working within a call management system to handle daily tasks Previous experience in a Production Environment Preferred Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Professional AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate Red Hat Certified Why you will love this job You will be working within an extremely diverse and multi-cultural environment and a fast growing and dynamic organization You will be provided with a rare learning opportunity within an experienced team working on high end technology and solutions You will be working on market leading software for the telecommunications industry
