Job Title: Finance Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Finance Credit Controller. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire Order-to-Cash cycle, with a focus on circulation revenue. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in billing, credit – recovery management & compliance, as well as excellent analytical skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% error-free revenue recognition, analyzing business risks, and implementing effective and timely recoveries of outstanding amounts. They will also play a key role in managing the team's internal sub-functions, including Dealer Interface, Revenue Accounting, Custodian Services, Collection/Recovery & Business Controls (O2C & R2R).

About the Role:
  • Dealer Interface Role:
    1. Ensuring Billing to all Agencies
    2. Dispute resolution management with agencies and customers
    3. Maintaining proper documentation for existing and new customer codes
  • Controllership Role:
    1. Booking of value addition orders/invoice regarding sponsorship etc
    2. Reconciliation between Dealer and Finance ledger balances
    3. Coordination with Big 4 auditors internal, Statutory and IFC audit
    4. Revenue Accounting experience
  • Banking:
    1. Managing interface with banks on banking products, clearing of collection etc
  • MIS, finance dept reporting:
    1. Month end reports/Presentation relating to revenue and collections
    2. Calculation of Classified, Display and Canvasser incentive
    3. Month Closing checklist adherence
    4. Initiating Process Control/Cost Control measures
  • Legal & Compliances:
    1. GST & TDS compliance
  • Commercial & Cost Control:
    1. Exposure to reconciliation of Debtors, Provision for expenses, cost ledger, vendor payment etc
    2. Exposure to legal Contracts, Barter arrangement etc
    3. Exposure to Budgeting exercise
    4. Exposure to Document management set up
  • IT Tools:
    1. Customer Database maintenance
    2. Working knowledge in SAP
    3. High Knowledge on Excel, word, power point, power BI
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Education Qualification: Chartered Accountant, Cost accountant around 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting in service industry
    • Desired Skills and Experience: Good communication skill, Time Management, Process Management skills, Result Orientation
