KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, interview and select sales executives with support from HR.
  • Meet productivity measures for the unit: Premium per executive, case rate, persistency, retention, and high productivity standards.
  • Exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct joint field work with executives to observe and demonstrate successful selling skills.
  • Conduct fortnightly performance reviews with executives.
  • Help executives use the GOLD system for maximizing business from target markets.
  • Supervise executives' daily activity plans to ensure they meet desired levels.
  • Ensure executives comply with company rules and regulations regarding need-based selling, compliance, and customer service.
  • Effectively manage, track, and convert leads from the in-house telemarketing unit.
  • Engage with customers for quick responses to customer queries and customer service.
  • Assist in resolving direct customer service policyholder complaints.
  • Retain customers in allocated books of relations.
  • Educate teams and prospects about Max Life Insurance products compared to competitors.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  • Target achievements (adjusted annual forecast, new business opportunities, penetration in assigned customer books, and product mix).
  • Team G3 productivity standards (case rate, case size, and collections) and consistently achieving G3 standards.
  • Team retention.
  • Persistency of the portfolio.
  • Process compliance.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reports.
  • % Collection (Plan vs. Actual).
  • Complaint resolution and customer satisfaction.

SELF DEVELOPMENT:

Induction, certifications, trainings, and completion of licensing.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate preferably with an MBA degree.
  • Total experience of 8-10 years with at least 3-5 years' experience in handling sales reps, agents, or DSAs.

  • Ability to supervise, develop, and motivate teams.
