Compensation Manager for Blue-Collar Workforce

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to join our team at ValetEZ. This role is responsible for managing the compensation and compliance for our blue-collar workforce across multiple locations in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing for the blue-collar workforce across multiple states in India.
- Calculate and process salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions monthly.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, including central and state-specific regulations.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate submission of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory contributions.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reports.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Employee Background Verification:
- Oversee the background police verification process for all employees.
- Coordinate with external agencies and ensure timely completion of verification.
- Payroll Software Management:
- Maintain and operate payroll management software with accuracy and efficiency.
- Track daily attendance and changes in the employee workforce through the software.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest system improvements for better payroll processing.
- Employee Support:
- Address payroll-related queries and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide detailed payroll reports to management and assist in audits when necessary.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improving payroll and compliance processes.
- Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.
