Job Opportunity

  • As a Gynecologist, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional medical care to patients undergoing various fertility treatments.
  • Start the day by completing Inpatient Department (IPD) and Outpatient Department (OPD) tasks. Key skills include task management and patient care.
  • Begin OPD sessions, where you will consult and counsel all patients regarding their treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Perform Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (IUI) and Sonography procedures as required. Proficiency in reproductive health is essential.
  • Prescribe medications and requisition necessary supplies. Knowledge of medication management and inventory control is important.
  • Conduct morning and evening rounds with Assistant Doctors and sisters to ensure patient files are complete and daily orders are reviewed. Strong organizational and time management skills are needed.
  • Verify parameters and investigations done, monitoring charts, and IPD and OT consents for newly admitted patients. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions is crucial.
  • Advise patients on necessary investigations and inform them of their status. Compassion and empathy are key qualities for this role.
  • Address patient complaints and take corrective actions. Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills are vital.
Operative Procedures

Perform scheduled Operative Procedures such as OPU, ET, and HLScopy, ensuring they start on time and pre-op preparation is completed by the OT sister according to the Pre-Op Checklist.

  • Participate in wash-up, assist, or conduct operations as needed. Teamwork and collaboration are essential.
  • Ensure anesthesia notes are entered. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
  • Record OT notes and provide post-op orders to assistant doctors. Organizational and time management skills are necessary.
  • Take post-op rounds immediately after shifting patients and verify that IPD sisters are following post-op orders. Strong observational and analytical skills are required.
  • Provide post-op counseling to patient relatives. Compassion and empathy are key qualities for this role.
Additional Responsibilities

Decide on patient discharge, prepare discharge papers with RMO assistance, and ensure all IPD paper work is completed by Assistant Doctors and sisters.

  • Monitor and control all clinical staff. Leadership and management skills are necessary.
  • Attend emergency situations and seek senior gynecologist guidance in case of complications. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Participate in camps and outreach OPDs. Ability to work in diverse environments and adapt to changing situations is essential.
