Key Responsibilities:
  • Channel Expansion:
  • Create a channel network by identifying distributors, negotiating and closing deals
  • Compliance Management:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations for newly appointed distributors.
  • Sales Performance Optimization:
  • Set sales targets both primary and secondary along with the number of retail stores to be opened every month and achieve them for each distributor.
  • Revenue Growth Strategies:
  • Manage sales to the distributors, and further to retail stores, thereby achieving sales targets through retailing and sales resources.
  • Inventory Coordination:
  • Coordinate distributor's invoicing and timely dispatch through the company.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Coordinate collections and manage distributor outstanding, strictly following FIFO and keeping track of outstanding.
  • Account Balance Confirmation:
  • Confirm distributor balance on a regular basis.
  • Performance Reporting:
  • Ensure daily sales report, weekly inventory & sales report, and monthly sales vs achievement report with ageing of distributors.
  • Retail Outlet Development:
  • Directly responsible for opening and servicing A+ category retail outlets.
  • Product Placement Strategies:
  • Ensure model mix and placement of focused products.
  • Sales Team Enablement:
  • Monitor, train, groom, and motivate the sales team to deliver targeted results by providing support, information, and guidance.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Monitor distributor's inventory both in terms of SKUs and inventory.
  • Merchandising and Display Solutions:
  • Merchandise and display the company's products for the entire area.
  • Sales and Inventory Intelligence:
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize sales and inventory reports as per timelines provided by the company, along with reporting competition activity to RSM/HO.
  • Sales Promotion Effectiveness:
  • Implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives effectively and efficiently.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the mobile accessories or related industry.
  • Good market reputation in handling distributors, whole sellers, and retailers to drive business.
  • Proven track record of success in expanding market presence and driving sales growth, particularly in urban and rural areas.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and MIS reporting.
