Product Owner – Open Banking Job Description

As a Product Owner for Open Banking, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our newly established team in developing innovative solutions that comply with regulatory frameworks and align with the strategic objectives of our banking and financial clients.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 10+ years as a Business Analyst in a regulatory environment, preferably within financial services. They should possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses of Open Banking regulations, interpreting and translating regulatory requirements into actionable business insights and solutions, and following up implementations of those such as Berlin Group NextgenPSD2.

They will also engage with stakeholders to identify and document the impact of regulatory changes on systems, processes, and workflows. Additionally, they will support internal advocacy efforts by contributing to internal communications, regulatory insights, and compliance timelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting detailed analyses of Open Banking regulations and interpreting regulatory requirements
  • Translating regulatory requirements into actionable business insights and solutions
  • Following up implementations of regulatory solutions such as Berlin Group NextgenPSD2
  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify and document the impact of regulatory changes
  • Supporting internal advocacy efforts through internal communications and regulatory insights
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a regulatory environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Experience with PSD2 and Berlin Group NextgenPSD2 or Open Banking UK
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to conduct detailed mappings of regulatory requirements to organizational systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with different Open Banking Frameworks and API integrations
