Cloud Database Consultant

This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in cloud-based database management and consulting. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud Database Consultant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop innovative solutions using MS SQL and Oracle on cloud-based platforms.
  • To lead delivery teams during customer workshops, coordinate with multiple stakeholders across client hierarchies, and engage with clients to define, design, and implement database architecture and solutions.
  • To achieve architect-level knowledge of server security, DR replication monitoring/configuration, high availability (HA), failover, and replication.
  • To plan, design, implement, and maintain database environments on AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.).

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong background in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Excellent consulting, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience migrating database workloads onto RDS or native EC2.
  • A good understanding of HA and replication mechanisms for databases.
  • Expertise in setting up MS SQL & Oracle in HA architecture.
  • The ability to provide integration support with third-party monitoring systems.

Requirements:

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Database Developer/Consultant.
