About the Position:

We are seeking experienced Automation Engineers to lead automated patch, vulnerability, and configuration compliance frameworks across Linux endpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement automated patch remediation for Linux systems.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python) for compliance enforcement.
  • Schedule and deploy OS patches in a controlled manner.
  • Integrate patch management with reporting tools.
  • Develop automated remediation playbooks for vulnerabilities and benchmarks.
  • Integrate with enterprise tools: SIEM, ITSM, LDAP, PIM/PAM.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Generate audit-ready reports and dashboards for patch status and vulnerability closure.
  • Real-time monitoring of patch management systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure minimal disruption during remediation cycles.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed SOPs, deployment guides, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer.
  • Support statutory compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration and automation.
  • Proven experience in patch management and compliance frameworks.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Linux.
  • Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
  • Familiarity with any Patching tools BigFix, ManageEngine etc.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols: SNMP, WinRM, SSH.
