The role involves managing orders, sourcing materials, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring smooth execution. This includes:
- Managing the entire order flow, from initial inquiries to final shipment
- Identifying and procuring materials, components, and accessories
- Coordinating with production teams to ensure efficient and timely production, monitoring progress, and highlighting any issues
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Documenting orders, materials, production processes, and shipping details
- Assisting in product development, including material sourcing, costing, and sampling
- Managing inventory levels, optimizing stock turnover, and minimizing waste
- Implementing merchandise plans, including sales forecasting and budget planning
- Maintaining strong relationships with buyers and channel partners
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- At least 2+ years of experience in a similar field
- Problem-solving skills to identify problems and develop solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and relationship-building
