Billing Associate Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the order life cycle, from receipt to payment. This includes verifying order information, processing customer orders, and resolving billing disputes.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Proven ability to form strong customer relationships and an understanding of customer focus and service delivery are essential.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP (applicable AR systems) is required.
  • Must possess and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communications skill.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Verify order information entered into SAP/SFDC system.
  2. Process customer orders within established deadlines.
  3. Manage the order life cycle, including order monitoring, permissions and billing/credits/cancellations for new and renewal orders.
  4. Implement release of billing for all services and charges.
  5. Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  6. Handle billing inquiries from clients, providing prompt and professional responses.
  7. Resolve billing disputes by investigating issues and coordinating with relevant departments.
  8. Process billing corrections as needed to ensure accurate records.
  9. Prepare regular reports on billing status and revenue collection.
  10. Work collaboratively with other departments such as Sales, Account Management, Collections, Product Support and Operations to resolve customer issues.
  11. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  12. Accountable for adhering to SOX compliance controls and 3rd party guidelines.
  13. Manage internal queries relating to order status, billing, permissions, and compliance issues.
  14. On a back-up basis, handle inbound customer calls relating to product/service queries, claims, subscription and accounts receivable queries.
  15. Lead adhoc initiatives with relevant groups, ensuring customer requests are successfully implemented.
  16. Spot trends and make recommendations for enhancing systems and procedures.
