Our team is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to support the 24x7 operation of our application in rotating shifts.

  • The ideal candidate will ensure that the application exceeds a 99.9% availability for the client, proactively monitoring and performing preventative maintenance.
  • They will report to the client on continuous monitoring of availability, attainment of SLAs, and Service Level Credits.
  • This role involves responding to incidents raised by the client and/or FIS relating to the Application environments and ensuring that SLAs are met.
  • The successful candidate will have 5+ years of proven experience in supporting Java-based applications on Linux platforms.
  • They should possess adequate knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience with system tools such as Jenkins, Nagios, and Splunk.
  • Familiarity with network topologies, common network protocols, and services like DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, and SNMP is also required.
  • The ability to troubleshoot application, communication interfaces, and system errors to guarantee application availability is essential.
  • Additionally, they should have experience with ticketing tools such as SNOW around change management.

  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex application-related issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Able to take the initiative and work independently or as part of a global team.
  • Experience in documenting SOPs to support daily operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (preferably Computer Science or Information Technology).
  • Fluent in English language.
