Executive Manager Position

About the Role
  • As an Executive Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales and customer acquisition for our organization.
  • You will be responsible for increasing our client database as much as possible by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to secure them.
  • With your experience and skills, you will add immediate volume and revenue to our business.
  • You will also focus on selling all products, including import LCL, FCL, export LCL, and FCL, if advised.
  • Additionally, you will monitor and follow up on sales calls made and ensure that business is generated from the same.
  • Proper service levels must be rendered to existing clients to maintain their continuous support.
  • Furthermore, you will make the best use of securing business from new clients through sales calls.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will prepare daily call reports and update the CRM package accordingly.
  • Also, you will prepare monthly sales planning projections to achieve set goals.
  • Reviewing monthly performance as per the sales plan and preparing a report in a structured format is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Last but not least, you will monitor market information about competitors and keep a close check on outstanding statements to ensure timely collections.
  • You will also ensure proper commitment is gained from clients in terms of credit and maintain outstanding below 60 days as per company policy.
  • Moreover, you will negotiate better ocean freight with agents and liners while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, you will develop and nurture professional and personal relationships with key resources and touch points across the assigned client base.
  • Through various client engagement tactics, you will consistently strive to create top-of-mind awareness and identity for the CFS.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and providing customer service support are also essential aspects of this role.
  • Visiting customers regularly, discussing and understanding their requirements, finalizing commercials, and concluding business is also a responsibility of this position.
  • Formally and immediately notifying clients of any developments, circumstances, or incidents likely to impact their business is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Applying commercial judgment to identify and convert cross-selling opportunities is also a critical skill required for this position.
  • Finally, you will ensure that client rebates are as per stipulated guidelines by the CFS management.
  • Implementing and monitoring CRM programs for respective clients is also a responsibility of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and customer acquisition.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
