Key Responsibilities:

The Substation Automation Specialist will be responsible for testing and validating Substation Automation Systems across various voltage levels in India and abroad. This role involves project phases such as requirement gathering, document review, RTU & HMI configuration, testing, and factory inspections with customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Substation Automation products/systems.
  • Strong knowledge of client requirements and project-specific documentation.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Understanding of different architectures such as RSTP, PRP, and HSR.
  • Hands-on experience with Ethernet Switches, Router, and Firewall configuration and testing.
  • Working knowledge of different communication protocols including Ethernet, Fiber optic, Serial RS232/RS485, PLCC, SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC 61850.
  • Ability to read and understand Panel Drawings and Schemes.
  • Experience in the verification of technical compliance of HW/SW systems.
  • Hands-on experience in HMI configuration for SLD (Single Line Diagram), System Architecture, Bay Views, Interlock Views.
  • Experience with RTU systems (A8000) and Device Manager configuration and testing.
  • Expertise in testing SAS systems and integrating them with different types of IEDs/Meters/Devices.
