Our organization seeks a skilled professional to fill the role of ESG Reporting Specialist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support the development of our ESG and sustainability reporting product by researching frameworks, assisting with reporting requirements, and contributing to building solutions for BRSR, GHG Accounting, GRI, CDP, and EHS compliance.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Researching and analyzing ESG standards, including BRSR, GHG Protocol, GRI, CDP, and EHS guidelines.
  • MAPPING ESG DATA COLLECTION AND REPORTING TEMPLATES IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PRODUCT AND DATA TEAMS.
  • Assisting in tracking regulatory and compliance trends in sustainability reporting.
  • Supporting the development of GHG emission (Scope 1, 2, 3) accounting workflows.
  • Preparing benchmarking studies and gap assessments.
  • Providing feedback on ESG reporting product features from a user perspective.
  • Collaborating with the product team to test and validate ESG data workflows.
  • Documenting insights on ESG frameworks and maintaining an internal knowledge base for sustainability compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Master's or bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting standards (BRSR, GRI, CDP) and GHG Protocol.
  • Basic knowledge of EHS management frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Workspace; exposure to ESG software tools is a plus.
  • A passion for sustainability, climate action, and ESG compliance.
