**Data Architect Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the Asset Management domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and managing data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and ensuring trusted, high-quality, business-aligned data solutions on Snowflake and Azure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage conceptual, logical & physical data models across multiple domains (accounts, holdings, transactions).
  • Design and optimize Snowflake data solutions (clustering, partitioning, schema best practices).
  • Drive data architecture & governance, ensuring data is trusted, understood, and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with Data Product Owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Document and present architecture/design decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Database Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in OLTP/OLAP design, Data Warehouse, ELT/ETL processes.
  • Proven experience in Snowflake (data sharing, streams, tasks, schema design).
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Modelling tools (Erwin, PowerDesigner, IBM Infosphere).
  • Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Cosmos DB.
  • Excellent SQL skills (performance tuning, query optimization, indexing).
  • Knowledge of ontology & taxonomy design and regulatory/financial data standards (BIAN, ACORD, ESG).
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across tech & business teams.
