
Customer Service Ambassador

This role involves working with staff to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to problem payments, such as credit card processing issues.
- Following up with guests regarding their satisfaction with services provided.
- Processing all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Handling various payment types, such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
- Setting up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, including handling separate room, tax, and incidentals.
- Anticipating sold-out situations and obtaining alternative accommodations when necessary.
- Blocking rooms in the computer and identifying designated requirements and requests.
- Coordinating with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Reviewing shift logs and documenting pertinent information in logbooks.
- Counting bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Balancing and dropping receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Focusing on maintaining quality standards and adhering to company policies and procedures.
