Job Title: Technology Strategist

BuildAmbit is an Edtech and Upskilling platform transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry with tech-first learning solutions.

As we scale, we need a seasoned technology strategist to guide our technology strategy and develop our Learning Management System (LMS) and digital platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive the tech roadmap for BuildAmbit's growth journey.
  • Oversee LMS platform design and development, ensuring seamless integrations.
  • Maintain scalable, secure, and compliant architecture aligned with Edtech needs.
  • Evaluate and onboard technology tools and vendors.
  • Build and mentor an initial tech/product team.
  • Advise on AI/ML, personalization, and data-driven features for learner experience.
  • Align technology strategy with business goals, funding milestones, and scalability.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling digital platforms (preferably in Edtech, SaaS, or consumer tech).
  • Hands-on expertise in product architecture, cloud infrastructure, and security.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, APIs, and integrations is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fractional/part-time capacity, balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
