Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development of advanced flight systems. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for defining the product development roadmap, breaking down projects into sequenced phases, and setting priorities.

\

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in high-speed aerodynamics and flight dynamics, including experience with CFD tools, wing/airframe optimization, and vortex/flow analysis.

\

In addition, they will have a solid grasp of structural analysis, knowledge of composite materials and alloys, and experience with landing gear, suspension, and stress testing.

\

A strong background in avionics and electronics is also essential, including hands-on experience with control units, flight controllers, PCBs, and embedded systems.

\

The selected candidate will be responsible for mentoring and managing engineers, shaping the technical culture of the team, and ensuring engineering decisions align with product goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product development roadmap\
  • Break down projects into sequenced phases\
  • Lead system-level integration across structures, aerodynamics, avionics, and control\
  • Guide structural and aerodynamic analysis (loads, drag, stability, thermal)\
  • Oversee design reviews, documentation, and testing protocols\
  • Support flight testing, data review, and iterative improvements\
  • Mentor and manage engineers

Required Skills and Qualifications

\
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, or related fields\
  • 7–12 years of experience in aerospace, UAVs, or defense systems\
  • Hands-on experience with flight-ready hardware and testing campaigns\
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and manage multi-disciplinary projects
