Job Title: Assistant Manager – Planning

The Assistant Manager - Planning is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for collaborating with Buying and central planning teams to ensure seamless operations.

">
  1. Collaborate closely with the Buying team to finalize monthly assortment and order quantities in line with planned sales and inventory targets.
  2. Develop and execute plans for store base stock and allocations to guarantee successful launches and deployments.

In-Season Monitoring & Replenishment

">
  1. Monitor weekly/fortnightly store-level stock cover, mix, and ageing to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Review store performance (STR, sell-through, LFL growth) and implement corrective interventions for underperforming products.

Promotions & Discounting

">
  1. Support the effective execution of promotions and discounts at the store level, monitoring their impact on sales.
  2. Track and analyze discount performance across stores to maximize sell-through and drive revenue growth.

End of Season Management (EOSS)

  1. Develop and execute EOSS allocation strategies based on discount structure, store profile, and market trends.
  2. Ensure timely dispatch of discounted stock to stores in coordination with Supply Chain Management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Accuracy of forecasting and allocation.
  2. Timeliness and effectiveness of replenishment processes.
  3. Sell-through achievement vs. budget targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and planning tools.
  3. Ability to work effectively across functions with Buying, SCM, and Operations teams.
  4. Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
