Looking for experienced and dynamic BD professional with an engineering background to lead business growth initiatives in Karnataka. He should have exposure and sound knowledge in the area of Infrastructure sector, water & wastewater sector, urban development and consultancy sectors etc. Also expertise in client relationship management, bidding, tender management, contract management etc.

Expected to perform following Responsibilities

a) Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in infrastructure, water & wastewater management, urban development, and allied engineering consultancy sectors.

b) Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.

c) Track government initiatives (e.g Smart Cities) and any other sectors where company PQ is strong and position the company for participation.

d) Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, ULBs, KUIDFC, Kand private sector clients and similar departments in the neighbor states.

e) Represent the company in client meetings, technical discussions, and high-level forums.

f) Act as the key point of contact for business negotiations and partnership building.

g) Lead preparation of EOIs, RFPs, DPR-related proposals, tenders, and PPP projects.

h) Coordinate with technical, financial, and legal teams for successful bid submissions.

i) Ensure compliance with tendering norms and monitor competition.

j) Guide and mentor junior business development and proposal teams.

k) Ensure knowledge transfer of best practices in business development, contract negotiation, and client management.

Expected Competencies

  • Solid technical basics in engineering especially on infrastructures sector (civil/environmental/mechanical) with professional insight.
  • Proven track record in business development, bidding, and procurement in infrastructure/consultancy sectors.
  • Sound knowledge in government contracting processes.
  • Good communication skill, client management skill, presentation etc., is essential.
