About this role:

We are seeking a skilled KYC Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our global operations, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely completion at agreed SLAs with good quality.

In this role, you will also act as a Checker for assigned processes, consolidate KYC data, prioritize requests from various stakeholders, and maintain close connections with onshore teams.

You will liaise with departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships, understand their data requirements, propose solutions, advocate team values, and obtain support when required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the team – prioritize tasks, monitor progress, update stakeholders, solve problems, motivate team members, and ensure expected KPIs and quality are met.
  • Act as a Checker for assigned processes, ensuring timely completion at agreed SLAs with good quality.
  • Consolidate KYC data, prioritize requests from various stakeholders, and maintain close connections with onshore teams.
  • Liaise with departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships – understand their data requirements, propose solutions, advocate team values, and obtain support when required.
  • Be involved in local and global projects, representing the KYC Team to Project Management teams to ensure goals, objectives, and deliverables are met.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
  • Handle escalations promptly, provide issue resolutions, and serve as the immediate point of contact locally for the team.
  • Act as a KYC knowledge center, resolving queries related to high-risk profiles.
  • Interpret regulatory/policy changes, communicate implications to the team, and incorporate impact within laid-down procedures.
  • Keep abreast of financial regulatory developments, educate the team, and proactively highlight potential issues to management.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to audit and compliance requirements, highlighting potential issues to management.
  • Provide timely feedback on performance, mentor team members to achieve expected performance standards, and plan resource utilization effectively.
