The role of a Business Intelligence Analyst involves working with data to drive business decisions.
This position requires 5-6 years of experience, including at least one year of experience with business intelligence platforms.
- Develop data models to extract customer data using ETL processes and troubleshoot issues during data loading and processing.
- Design and build data warehouse models in columnar databases.
- Create data processing scripts using SQL and optimize complex sequences of SQL queries.
- Deploy SSIS packages to validate, synthesize, and transform customer data for integrated business planning and analytics.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand customers' business requirements and implement them.
- Perform data analysis for complex use cases using SQL and technical specifications for cognitive applications.
- Own the development and implementation workflow.
- Participate in technical design, data requirements gathering, and recommendations on best practices for accurate or missing data.
- Automate data loading and insights generation with intelligent checks and balances.
- Create and execute test plans, document issues, and track progress in resolving issues.
Mandatory requirements include:
- Strong experience in ETL processes.
- Proficiency in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL with knowledge of DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with programming concepts and workflows.
- Experience using columnar databases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
