Network Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Solutions Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network solutions and presales, with expertise in Cisco as the primary OEM.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Product teams/vendors to develop bespoke solutions and ensuring accurate verification, technical design vetting, and overall cost and quality for correct design and implementation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product teams/vendors to develop bespoke solutions and ensure accurate verification, technical design vetting, and overall cost and quality for correct design and implementation.
  • Coordinate and oversee Third-Party Providers for solution components, creating and freezing Bill of Materials as needed.
  • Translate client business requirements into formal network solution requirements, ensuring accurate recording and verification.
  • Develop a convincing solution strategy addressing current, intermediate, and future modes of operations, including migration approaches.
  • Design and develop end-to-end network solution designs meeting agreed network solution requirements while considering economic parameters and competition.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with customers to gather information on proposals/information requests and environments.
  • Successfully defend proposed techno-commercial solutions during the pre-sales process.
  • Prepare proposal documents, including pricing sheets, solution presentations, and contractual documents such as Statements of Work and Resource Unit Definitions.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest product features, licensing, architecture, and prices, positioning new data technologies/products in relevant solution proposals.
  • Defend end-to-end data solutions to customers/internal stakeholders, working closely with other technology owners for optimal solution design.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 8-18 years of experience in network solutions/presales, with expertise in Cisco as the primary OEM. Additional knowledge of Juniper, Arista, Versa, Fortinet, and HP is advantageous.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Strong communication skills, proficiency in creating presentations, and solid working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint are also essential.

Certifications in relevant areas, such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), would be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of DC-LAN (Tiered designs, Leaf/Spine, VXLAN, DCI, SDN-ACI/NSX)
  • WAN (SDWAN - Viptela/VeloCloud /Versa/Aruba)
  • Campus LAN, Wireless, WLAN, Routing Protocols-BGP/OSPF, Switching/Tunneling communication (i.e., IPsec/VXLAN/GRE)
  • Load Balancer -F5, Network Knowledge of Automation with Ansible/Python/Terraform, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, BOM/BOQ creation etc.
