Job Title: Financial Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial professional to join our organization. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services to our clients.

  • Audit and Review Engagement Management:
    • Plan engagements, perform testing or analytical procedures, prepare all work paper documentation, and lead engagements from start through completion.
  • Preparation of Tax Returns:
    • Input tax returns for clients in tax software.
  • Issue Draft Financial Statements and Draft Tax Returns:
    • Take full responsibility for preparation of deliverables to the client, including financial statements and tax returns.
  • Client Liaison:
    • Take ownership over client relationships and communicate with clients to obtain all required financial/tax documents to ensure engagement deliverables are complete and accurate.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience working for a public accounting firm, with 3+ years of experience in a senior or supervisor role. They will also hold a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant License and have excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience working for a public accounting firm
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior or supervisor role at a public accounting firm
  • 5+ years of audit experience
  • Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant License
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to pivot when necessary to meet client deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity and experience with CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement software for audit/review engagements and CCH ProSystem Fx Tax software for tax return preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
