This leadership position combines project-level financial management with corporate accounting responsibilities. Key duties include reviewing bids, proposals, and agreements for financial compliance; setting up projects in ERP systems; collecting and maintaining legal documentation for sub-consultants; providing financial reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses; ensuring revenue recognition compliance; collaborating with project managers to prepare monthly invoices; supporting collections and resolving overdue accounts; and assisting with project close-out.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, expense coding, reimbursements, and cash application. They will also maintain accurate corporate and local accounting records, prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow forecasts, handle tax computations and filings, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years of accounting experience in a professional services environment, preferably in the AEC industry. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
