Financial Accounting Specialist

This is a part-time, on-site role for a skilled financial accounting professional. The Financial Accounting Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, conducting thorough financial reporting, and analyzing complex financial data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements in compliance with established standards.
  • Effective management of end-to-end accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation.
  • Overseeing payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Daily monitoring of financial transactions and maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records.
  • Supporting internal and external audits as required.
  • Preparing and submitting comprehensive financial reports to management, providing actionable insights and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, including GST, PF, TCS, TDS, and others.
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll software, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Knowledge of finance principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
