Service Desk Manager

Base8 is seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager to lead our technical operations team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality IT services and managing a team of technical support specialists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet the needs of our clients, while also identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a team of technical support specialists to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our services meet the needs of our clients.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance our service delivery.
• Ensure that our services meet the required service level agreements.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in IT service management, with a strong background in technical support and team leadership.
• Professional IT certifications, such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Citrix CCEA or CCIA, Sonic Wall CSSA, Connect Wise CCPA, LabTech LTCP, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technical support specialists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance our service delivery.
