Process Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and optimizing column internals such as trays, structured packings, random packings, distributors, and demisters to ensure high-efficiency solutions for our clients.

  • Design and Optimize Column Internals: Design and optimize column internals to improve mass transfer and separation processes.
  • Process Simulations: Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with mechanical and production teams to ensure the design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  • Hydraulic and Efficiency Calculations: Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  • Technical Support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and customer consultations.
  • Operational Troubleshooting: Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with advancements in mass transfer technology and process engineering best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of process design experience or 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
  • Optional Skills: Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD.
  • Key Skills: Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles. Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
  • Soft Skills: Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
