Job Title: SQL Database Administrator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot SQL Server instances
  • Develop and implement database architectures, including data modeling and schema design
  • Implement data replication and disaster recovery strategies
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing
  • Monitor and maintain database security, backup, and recovery processes
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 architecture, SSMS, and SQL Agent
  • Practical experience in SQL Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with CDC with Debezium/Kafka for real-time data sync and basic knowledge on Always On Availability Groups
  • Proficient in Performance/Query tuning and debugging of stored procedures and SQL jobs
  • Strong Knowledge of backup/restore strategies, recovery models, and DB maintenance on production support
  • Experience with GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including nights and weekends, as required)
