Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation solutions that meet organizational standards.

You will work with development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria.

Acting as a test lead, you will plan the work of other testing staff and assign tasks to meet project deadlines.

Strong testing skills are required to provide guidance and assist project staff in the writing of scripts, expected results, test results, and defect descriptions.

The role involves organizing, monitoring, and participating in internal/cross team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, technical reviews, requirements review, and architecture/design reviews.

Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices, CI/CD Processes, and Continuous Testing Methodologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation solutions and build reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses
  • Identify areas/test cases for Automation and Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy
  • Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases and analyze and report test results to the teams
  • Work in partnership with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria
Requirements:
  • Software testing experience in all phases of testing including test planning, test execution, and test closure
  • 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester
  • Must have skills in Python for test automation
  • Experience of working with SOAP and REST service and understanding of SOA architecture
  • Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks preferred
  • Experience using SQL to query databases required
  • Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git
  • Experience with test data management techniques
  • Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
  • Strong English proficiency level (B2) is required
  • The expected seniority level is A3
  • Candidate must undergo customer and project interviews
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology-related field
