Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests, ensuring the highest quality standards across the application.

You will use tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, TestNG, and Cucumber to automate tests and ensure product reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a proven ability to be an independent contributor who can unblock themselves and peers.

The Senior SDET will play a critical role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring best practices in testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Test Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber frameworks.
  • API testing: Write automated API tests using RestAssured and Postman for validating RESTful APIs.
  • Agile and Continuous Integration (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Problem Solving and troubleshooting: Exceptional technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.
