Job Title: Automation Support Specialist
At SPG Consulting, we seek an experienced Automation Support Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients in implementing and maintaining automation workflows using Backbox.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and deployment of automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and Shell scripting languages.
- Assist in compliance reporting and ensure that all automation workflows meet required standards and regulations.
- Develop basic automation scripts and troubleshoot workflows and backup integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities and develop strategies to implement them.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Backbox and automation principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, and Shell.
- Experience with networking basics and security protocols.
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
Career Path:
As a successful Automation Support Specialist, you can progress to more senior roles such as Network Automation Engineer, Senior Automation Engineer, or Automation Architect. With experience and expertise, you can move into lead or consulting roles, advising clients on strategic and architectural decisions related to automation and network infrastructure.
